Perry Russell

Legal Practice Director

Perry is the founding partner of Keylaw. Identifying the use of innovative technology along with a true dedication to an exceptional client service, he ensures conveyancing is delivered to clients effectively at a low cost. Perry holds a Master of Laws Degree and is a former member of the Law Society’s Property Law Committee.

After many years working in the conveyancing industry, Nick has created the vision that is behind our strategic goals. Nick is the driving force behind our continued growth by developing our quality assurance programme. He is dedicated to implementing effective systems that create a superior client experience.

Erin Newsham

General Manager

Erin holds dual degrees in law and business and is a member of the Queensland PEXA Advisory Council. Selected as a finalist in the 2024 Women in Law Awards in the Legal Operations Professional of the Year category, her enthusiasm and dedication ensures we are leaders in the field of residential property conveyancing, and she is responsible for the consistently high quality work undertaken by our staff. Erin’s skills lay in her ability to communicate with our team members to ensure Keylaw works as a cohesive unit.

Chief Marketing Officer

Claire holds a degree in music from the University of Melbourne, a Juris Doctor from the University of New South Wales and is currently completing a Master of Digital Marketing. Her background practicing in human rights law and consumer advocacy inform an ethical approach to marketing, which places the client’s experience at the centre of every strategy. Claire was selected as a finalist in the 2024 Women in Law Awards in the Marketing and Communications Professional of the Year category.

Senior Software Engineer

Sohrab holds a degree in software engineering and has over fifteen years of experience in the field. Committed to safe-guarding privacy in the digital age, Sohrab is responsible for the continual testing and improvement of our custom software, allowing us to continue to offer best-in-class data security and fraud protection to our clients.

Senior Associate/Head of Settlements

Annie holds a law degree, and an arts degree in politics and international relations. Having joined the firm in 2020, Annie is now a senior associate and leads the settlements team at Keylaw. She is responsible for delivering our on-time settlement rate, which consistently exceeds industry standards. Annie was selected as a finalist in the 2024 Women in Law Awards in the Senior Associate of the Year – SME Law category.
